At The Teacher's Toolbox we strive to help early educators develop their skills, improve their programs, and, perhaps most importantly, feel valued and respected. Our services include professional development seminars for teachers and administrators, on site program consultations, "mystery shopping" evaluations, and the facilitation of parent/family workshops. We are always looking for new ways to serve the early childhood community and are open to new ideas; if you have a need, please let us know and we will work with you!
All of our workshops have been created exclusively by The Teacher's Toolbox, LLC and are offered at various locations across New England and are also available to be presented at your specific program on the date and time of your choosing.
Below is a preview of just some of the workshops we will be offering in 2015.
Shake, Rattle, & Roll
We navigate the important role of music in Early Childhood programs including encouraging children to explore music independently, using music to enhance curriculum, and, perhaps most interestingly, as a behavior management tool.

Professionalism in Early Childhood We explore what it means to be a professional in early education including how to present yourself, how to engage in the greater EC community, and how to deal with even the most challenging situations with colleagues, supervisors, and families.and many more...
Kristy Woods Ouellette: Owner / Lead Facilitator After nearly two decades working directly with children and their families in early childhood programs, Kristy joined the team at NH's Child Care Licensing Unit. She spent more than six years working with child care programs, both center and family based, to ensure safe and healthy environments for children. She really enjoyed her work as a licensing coordinator and found the consultative visits and facilitating professional development to be the most rewarding. As 2014 came to a close, Kristy decided that a change was necessary. She had longed for the opportunity to work as an independent consultant and decided the time had come to make it happen. So in 2015, Kristy brought The Teacher's Toolbox back to life. She is now available to provide consultation, mentoring, as well as facilitate professional development on a wide range of topics. From working with staff one on one to facilitating a training for 200 people, she can handle it all with ease.
Kristy earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Southern New Hampshire University. She is credentialed by the State of NH as an Early Childhood Master Professional with endorsements as a Workshop Trainer, Program Consultant, and Individual Mentor.
